"When asking for advice via social media, you are inundated with tour guides promoting themselves. We contacted a handful. The reason we chose Ahmed, was because he was not pushy. His prices seemed the average going rate. I also asked about numerous other things before arriving (for example weather on the island) he took photos of the sky every day, and sent them to me without request, just to put my mind at ease. It was then I knew we'd found our person. Ahmed is a young & ambitious gentleman. He's worked very hard to get a good job in Zanzibar, at such a young age. He's 21, and much more mature than my 21yr old 🤣 This was our honeymoon, so it was special. "
